Make your child the main character in his or her very own birthday story! Our parties are geared for children 4-10 years old.
Ages 4 - 6
Perfect for the younger child and full of silly good times! Kids will enjoy a
special story time and will work together on crafts and games! Parties for this age group are 90 minutes and have 2 staff members dedicated to your party and guests.
Ages 6-10
Specifically designed for those children just discovering the joy of chapter books. These parties are full of games, crafts, puzzles and unique book-related fun!

American Girl Parties
Guaranteed to delight any young lady having a birthday, these parties are full of crafts and activities centered around the American Girl characters. Girls are invited to bring their dolls for the party. Ask us about available character themes.

- American Girl Tea Party ($250 for a party of up to 8 girls)
BIRTHDAY PARTY PACKAGE
Our parties cost $200 and include up to 8 children, $30 for each additional child.
Your Birthday Package Includes:
- 90 mins of themed story time, craft and activities. *Parties for 4-6 years old includes 60 minutes of themed story time, craft and activities.
- 30 mins of cupcakes and refreshments (We supply the cupcakes, drinks and paper products)
- Personal Party Coordinator
- Party favors for each child (a book matching your party theme)
- Set up, clean up and paper products
- Free downloadable Invites and Thank You cards (available with our Birthday Party Toolkit)
- Easy Wish List registration for hassle-free suggestions
- Free Gift Wrapping on registered gifts for you and your guests
A $100 non-refundable deposit and signed agreement will confirm your party. Your party coordinator will contact you for a final number of guests one week prior to your party. Balances will be paid based on your final count and are due on the day of your party.
Friendly, Knowledgeable StaffOur staff knows books, especially children's books! When you have your child's birthday party at Harleysville Books, our dedicated staff members will make your child the star in his or her very own book adventure.
We plan the story time, activities, cupcakes, and more! Our staff takes care of everything. Just bring your camera, take pictures, and enjoy your child's special day.
We can modify our Birthday Parties for your Girl/Boy Scout meetings. Or, ask us about taking the party out of the store and bringing it to you!
Picking Your Party Theme...
Your child can pick from several themes, just right for him or her. We'll plan the activites and craft around your theme to make your party truly unique.
Talk with us about adding special touches that may work for your party theme - if you have an idea not listed, just ask! We'll do our best to meet your special requests.
